The Club at Savannah Quarters recently welcomed Peyton Grymes as its new Golf Lifestyle Director. Grymes will direct golf membership sales and marketing for the private club and community, which features an 18-hole Greg Norman Signature golf course, outstanding club amenities and an extensive social calendar. The Club at Savannah Quarters offers many levels of membership for residents and non-residents alike.
Prior to joining The Club at Savannah Quarters' team, Grymes was an 18-year associate of Troon - the club's management company - having most recently led the company's Honours Golf division's sales and marketing efforts. While with Troon, Grymes was recognized as both a finalist and winner of the Troon Golf Salesperson of the Year award.
"Peyton's unparalleled passion and dedication to growing the golf lifestyle is an added benefit for our club community beloved by our residents and members," said Philip Linaugh, Jr. General Manager, The Club at Savannah Quarters. "The magnificent coastal low country, the one and only top caliber Greg Norman Signature course and the top-tiered residential offerings at Westbrook by Freehold Communities made Peyton's return to the area an easy one."
Grymes has served on numerous community committees, including The First Tee of Savannah, Savannah Convention and Visitors Bureau's Meetings Task Force, the Savannah CVB Sports Council Board, the Savannah CVB Hockey Classic Board, an ambassador for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Georgia Meeting Professionals Association. In addition, through his work with the Savannah Chamber of Commerce and the PGA TOUR, Grymes was the top producer for the PGA TOUR Champions' Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf "Fill the Fairways" Campaign from (2006 - 2013), gaining expanded sponsorships, ticket, pro-am sales and revenues for the event.
The Club at Savannah Quarters, a Troon Privé-managed club, features a private 18-hole Greg Norman Signature course. The quintessential southern golf course, it is playable year-round and was voted "Best Golf in Savannah" by Savannah Magazine. The picturesque 7,066-yard, par-72 course weaves through lagoons, natural areas, and groves of towering cypress and live oak trees. The signature 15th hole, offers a unique island green overlooking a peaceful lagoon. For more information on The Club at Savannah Quarters, visit www.SavannahQuarterscc.com or call 912-450-2288.
