By Dave Daubert

Coral Hospitality-GA, LLC - a full-service hospitality management and investment company - today announced the promotion of PGA Professional Gary Garmany to director of golf. Garmany will manage the golf operations and services offered at three of Georgia's State Parks: George T. Bagby State Park & Lodge, Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club and Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge. This trio of exceptional golf courses are part of the Georgia Golf Trail, a statewide selection of outstanding golf resorts and clubs to be enjoyed year-round by the Peach State's players and visitors

"Over the past year, Gary has made invaluable contributions to the quality of our golf courses with extensive knowledge of the game," said Heath Carter, regional vice president of sales and marketing for Coral Hospitality. "We believe he brings renewed passion and perspective to the position, and we're excited to welcome Gary to his new role as director of golf."

Prior to his new position, Gary served Coral Hospitality as golf sales manager. His golf experience spans more than 20 years, including Alabama-based positions as a tournament and marketing director for Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and the head golf professional at Eagle Point Golf Club, in Birmingham.

"I'm thrilled to continue my journey with Coral Hospitality as its new director of golf," said Garmany. "I've been amazed by their nationally ranked golf courses since joining the company, and I look forward to continuing the reputation the properties have for providing challenging yet affordable play for all skill levels."

Garmany's promotion tees up the fall and holiday seasons as golfers travel to the Georgia properties to take advantage of the temperate weather and spectacular mountain views. With high rankings from Golf Advisor in Georgia, Coral Hospitality's award-winning golf properties feature picturesque views of the state's natural beauty, expertly designed courses and challenging, creative courses that suit golfers of all skill levels, with well-appointed accommodations for the whole family.
